Netflix feature film “We Could Be Heroes” directed by Robert Rodriguez

3D Modeling, Design, and Printing

I ran the rapid prototyping department and helped with prop and set design during the production. Below are a few examples of my work from the film.

Jetpack prop/costume I co-designed. Modeled in Fusion 360 and Zbrush. Each pack is approximately made up of 30 pieces. Printed with FDM.

A working alarm clock prop I modeled from a concept in Fusion 360 and printed with FDM. Characters and concept art by other artists.

Handheld prop I designed over the top of a Flir thermal imaging device. Modeled in Fusion 360 and FDM printed.

I printed dozens of scale models on the show. For this example, I redesigned the model so it could be easily taken apart for scene blocking. All of the pieces were held together with magnets. Modeled in Fusion 360 and FDM printed.

A prop “card reader” that could be operated practically on set. Modeled in Fusion 360 and printed with FDM.

A few more miscellaneous props and costume accessories I designed and printed for the show.
